Fearless Leaders in Heels was born from a dream and desire to give back to our community.

It all started with an idea, our founder Iris competed in the national Nuestra Belleza USA competition. Originally her goal was to create this platform after winning that title. However, she placed second runner up and realized this was much bigger than any title and decided to move forward bringing her vision to life!

She reached out to Isabel, a fellow sister queen, because we share many of the same values, goals, and passions. Together, we began meeting at local coffee shops; brainstorming ideas, and putting our vision onto paper. We filled notebooks and binders with topics we wanted to share, lessons we had learned, and ways that we could help others grow in confidence and leadership through our pageantry jouneys.
 

From those early conversations, Fearless Leaders in Heels was born in May 2025!
 

Everything you see today has been built by us. We learned the world of podcasting completely from scratch; we created the name, designed the logo, built the website, developed the content, organized scripts, came up with interview questions, filmed episodes, edited videos, and managed social media accounts. 
 

When we launched our first season, we weren't planning to feature guests. We wanted to begin by sharing our own experiences, lessons, and knowledge while learning how to become better communicators and content creators ourselves. As we continued to grow, we were overwhelmed by the support of our family, friends, and community. Their encouragement gave us the confidence to expand the podcast and welcome incredible guests who have shared their stories and wisdom with our audience.
 

Today, we are proud of how far Fearless Leaders in Heels has come, but we know we are only getting started.
 

One of the moments that reminded us why we started this journey was hearing from a young woman who shared that the information and advice from our podcast helped her prepare for her pageant journey—and ultimately win her crown! In that moment, we felt that we had already achieved our mission.
 

Our goal has never been just about pageants. We want to help people build confidence in every area of their lives—whether they are preparing for a pageant, their career, or simply learning to believe in themselves. 
 

We are grateful to every listener, subscriber, guest, supporter, family member, and friend who has helped bring this vision to life.
